A: Match.D offers 100% authentic Japanese matcha sourced directly from Kyoto and Kagoshima, crafted with premium quality to ensure a smooth and flavourful experience. Unlike a lot of other brands selling matcha in Australia, our priority is to provide easier access the highest quality matcha to customers like you who prioritise your matcha routine.

Q: How should I store my matcha?
A: Keep your matcha in an airtight container, stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For the best freshness, refrigerate it after opening.

Q: What’s the difference between ceremonial and culinary matcha?
A: Ceremonial matcha is best for traditional tea preparation due to its smoother taste and vibrant colour. Culinary matcha is ideal for cooking and baking, offering a slightly stronger flavour to shine through recipes.

Q: Does matcha contain caffeine?
A: Yes, matcha contains caffeine, but it provides a smoother, longer-lasting energy boost without the jitters often associated with coffee.

Q: How do I prepare matcha?
A: Use 3-4 grams of matcha, sifted into a bowl. Add 70–100ml of hot water (80°C) and whisk vigorously in a zig-zag motion until frothy.

Q: Can I use matcha in recipes?

Shipping & Returns

We aim to dispatch orders within 1-3 business days. Once your order leaves our facility, delivery time depends on your location and the shipping method you select during checkout. Please note that shipping times are estimates and not guarantees. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your order's progress to your doorstep.

While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, Match.D is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs clearance processes, or other factors beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding and patience in these situations.

Q: What shipping options do you offer?

A: For Australian orders, we offer standard and express shipping. Estimated delivery times are provided at checkout based on your location and the shipping method chosen.

Q: Do you offer international shipping?

A: Currently we only ship Australia-wide, but will be expanding to other select countries shortly. Stay tuned to #getmatchd overseas! 

Q: Can I return my product?

A: We have a 14-day return policy if your item is in the same condition that you received it. It must be unused, unopened, in its original packaging. If you wish to return your Match.D product, or there are any other issues with your product, please refer to our Refund Policy page or email your order number to hello@shopmatchd.com.au for us to review your request and help you with the return process.
