What makes Match.D matcha different?
We source 100% organic, top-grade matcha directly from Kyoto and Kagoshima, Japan. Our goal is to make high-quality matcha more accessible in Australia without compromising on flavour, smoothness, or nutritional integrity.
Is your matcha ceremonial or culinary grade?
We offer ceremonial-grade matcha that is smooth, vibrant, and ideal for daily rituals. Our focus is on taste and quality that can be enjoyed simply with water or in lattes.
Matcha Basics
Does matcha contain caffeine?
Yes, but it’s not like coffee. Matcha delivers a gentler, longer-lasting energy boost thanks to L-theanine, which supports calm focus—without the crash or jitters.
How do I prepare matcha?
Use 1 tsp (approx. 3g), sift into a bowl or cup, add 70–100ml of hot water (80°C), and whisk in a zig-zag motion until frothy. Add milk or sweeteners as desired.
How should I store it?
Keep your matcha in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. For best freshness, refrigerate after opening and use within 30–60 days.
Can I use matcha in cooking or baking?

Shipping & Returns
Where do you ship?
We currently ship Australia-wide with both standard and express options. Estimated delivery times are available at checkout.
Do you ship internationally?
Not yet, but international shipping is coming soon. Stay tuned!
How long does shipping take?
Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days. Once shipped, delivery times vary based on your location and selected shipping method.
Can I return my order?
We accept returns within 14 days if the product is unused and in its original packaging. For return instructions, refer to our Refund Policy or email us at hello@shopmatchd.com.au with your order number.
We aim to dispatch orders within 1-3 business days. Once your order leaves our facility, delivery time depends on your location and the shipping method you select during checkout. Please note that shipping times are estimates and not guarantees. Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to track your order's progress to your doorstep.
While we do our best to ensure timely delivery, Match.D is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs clearance processes, or other factors beyond our control. We appreciate your understanding and patience in these situations.
